Launch of Findr in Green Sun, Makati!

Last October 25, I was invited to attend Findr's app launch in Green Sun, Makati.

What's Findr? Findr is a new app created by Satellite GPS Tracking and Asset Management System Corporation, a Philippine-based company based in Iloilo, Ortigas, and Singapore. They focus on Global Positioning System (GPS) Tracking and Monitoring solutions for all public and private transportation services. They also offer asset management for businesses engaged in the hauling, distribution, sales and marketing, and mapping revolution.

Today, they created an application that will definitely benefit a lot of people that aren't solely into business, but the social world as well. Findr helps you get in touch with people around your area with just a few clicks of a button. Through connecting your social media accounts (FourSquare, Facebook, or Google), you'll be able to add all your loved ones and create events and group chats. It makes planning so much easier. You get to even track the location of those attending (NO MORE LAME EXCUSES, I KNOW WHERE YOU WILL BE! LOL!).

With Findr, you'll also be able to find all the places and events you're interested in, even getting firsthand information on all the new sales and deals. Best part: It's free and all you need to do is log in using your social media accounts.

The whole event was awesome, with press releases from the founders themselves, entertainment from ambassadors and DJ Mike, and even interactive games. I loved the way they used AR to create their games, where we had to find the icons all over the room and win prizes. Didn't get any, though. I was too slow. Huhu. 

On the night of the event, it already had almost 3,000 downloads! So congratulations to the people behind Findr and hoping for more success. To download the app, all you need to do is search for "Findr" on your App/Play store (I'm sure you know that, haha!). It's compatible with all smartphones, so check it out and start planning your events now!

I'm definitely using this the next time I'm creating an event. Gonna track your lil butts and make sure you aren't traffic in EDSA. That, and to look for awesome food deals! :p
